£2k Awarded To Support Bereaved Parents

Learn how Crosshouse Children's Fund is supporting parents during their darkest days

The loss of a baby is simply unimaginable, but sadly for many families this can become a reality. 

Crosshouse Children's Fund has proudly awarded £2,000 to Ayrshire Baby Loss Support, a voluntary group comprised of volunteers who have experienced baby loss. The group provides bereavement support to anyone affected by the loss of a baby at any stage of pregnancy. 

"On behalf of Ayrshire Baby Loss Support we would like to thank Crosshouse Children's Fund so much for your most generous donation.  This will help us immensely in setting up our new group who will be offering support to families who have lost a baby at any stage.

We intend to use the funding to help raise awareness of our group and to buy bereavement books to support parents and siblings. Books such as these bring comfort and help families understand the emotions they can experience. As a voluntary group we rely on fundraising and donations therefore your contribution has been invaluable to us."
