Andrew Hughes
Andrew is a pharmacist by profession, having served the community for 40 years. He retired as the owner and director of his businesses in Renfrewshire in 2005.
Andrew has been a Rotarian since 1977 and has served in many roles during this time, including club president on two occasions, District Governor in the West of Scotland and International Service Team Leader for Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland. He has supported and promoted many charities which operate in the areas of health, education, hunger and the provision of clean water in Africa.
Andrew is delighted to have the opportunity to be involved in the development of Crosshouse Children's Fund, the charity for babies and children in Ayrshire hospitals. Having recently experienced the care of the NHS, he looks forward to giving something back.
